The rolling pin is very nice, the marble nice and smooth. This is a nice heavyweight pin. Overall a quality product. As others have mentioned, the handle hole on mine wasn't drilled in the center either, so it does wobble a bit when using. I haven't actually used it on dough yet, so we'll see if it has any affect on usage., I purchased this as a gift for my fiance' who is a real foodie. I was surprised at how well made the item was for the low price.
