I bought this for some occasional flux core welding. If you're doing some heavy work I would think a better helmet would be recommended but for the $13.99 I paid it works for me. The clear inner shield is about as thin as the packing on some meat wrappers and pops out if you press on it lightly. You can easily replace it with a piece of safety glass off that big 4 letter auction site and I will be doing so. Head fit and adjustment are OK and at the price I got what I expected and I'm not disappointed but my rating is based on that so if you're doing some heavy welding don't buy this one.
